Non-perishable food items can be brought to the church and placed in the grocery cart found in the vestibule throughout the year any time the church is open. These items are taken to the Bellevue Food Pantry regularly.
Mobile Food Pantry
Several times per year, volunteers set up the parish hall as a food pantry. Food is brought to the church by the Food Bank and volunteers set up and distribute the food. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate any time. Set up usually begins at 9:00am with food distribution occurring between 10:00am and Noon on select Saturdays.
The church supports the diocesan youth mission trip to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. This trip occurs in the summer and youth 12 years and older may participate. Adults are often needs to assist as well. While at the reservation, participants hold Vacation Bible School for Reservation children as well as perform a service project that benefits the town and local church. Slightly older youth and adults may also participate in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This also occurs during the summer and a small community
Siena Francis House
On the third Saturday of a month, volunteers (12 years and older) may help serve dinner from 4:30-7:00pm at the Siena Francis House (an area shelter). Contact the church office for more information.
The church building often serves as host to outside organizations needing a place to meet. Members of the church are invited to participate. This includes Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Tai Chi.
